Imran-Deepika's height of filmy-bonding

Deepika Padukone talks about how she went from being social friends with Imran Khan to finding him sexy later

Deepika Padukone is known for many things. Her charming smile, her enchanting eyes, her acting prowess and above all, her tall built. Deepika's height has always been her characteristic feature, as she often stood taller than her co-actors, be is Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan or Neil Mukesh. This has often resulted in her directors cleverly shooting cheat shots to ensure the pair looks even.

But when Deepika was seen posing with Imran Khan for pictures at a party organized by her "Break Ke Baad" director Kunal Kohli, things were quite different. The party was organized by the filmmaker to allow the cast and crew to get to know each other before they could commence filming. During the party, some photographers noticed a marginal difference in height between the two lead cast members. And it was startling for them as this time around, Deepika's co-star Imran seemed to have won the height game.

As photographers brought this fact to everyone's notice, Imran and Deepika were only too amused. Soon, someone at the party suggested that they should be measured to be certain of who's taller and Imran and Deepika were sporting enough to play along. As a measuring tap was rolled out, Deepika was measured at 5 feet nine inches and Imran was a whole inch taller. While the two had known each other socially, it was this incident that actually got them friendly. Deepika confirms this story, adding, “That incident really helped us break us the ice."

Today as their film is about to release, Deepika and Imran have got to know each other on a deeper level. And now Deepika actually finds Imran sexy. But the reason is quite different. Imran has been committed to Avantika since 8 years, and Deepika finds that quality really endearing. And it is the dedication to one girl since 8 years is what Deepika finds very sexy about Imran.
